Pininfarina’s past, present and future on display in Turin
The world’s most famous automotive design house, Pininfarina celebrates 90 years of style and innovation with a new exhibition at MAUTO in Turin, open from May to September.
Founded in 1930, Pininfarina has grown from a craft company to a global brand employing over 600 people. In those 90 years, Pininfarina has brought us some of the finest automobiles in the world, but has also demonstrated exciting innovation. Divided into six zones, the exhibition will showcase the brand’s unique expanse, from the magnificent 2020 Cisitalia to the 1969 Sigma Grand Prix and into the future with the exciting new concept of the Battista electric hypercar.
Pininfarina CEO Silvio Angori comments: “Over the next decade cars will not be the same as the ones we have designed and built for 90 years. They will be connected, shared, electrified and autonomous. We are part of this revolution. The cross-fertilization of all our skills, from automotive to architecture, from interior design to design experience, will determine the mobility of the future signed Pininfarina ”.
From May 20 to September 12, the exhibition will show a total of 16 cars and other Pininfarina cars will also be on display at the MAUTO – Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile di Torino.
